YMCA Barry Gymnastics club is the most successful gymnastics club in the Vale of Glamorgan, namely having gymnasts from the club represent Wales at every Commonwealth Games since 1986. YMCA Barry Gymnastics was the first sports club to be awarded the Gold Insport Award from Disability Sport Wales for the clubs commitment to providing inclusive gymnastics and has been named as a Mental Health Friendly Club by the Vale of Glamorgan Sports & Play Team.

YMCA Barry offers gymnastics for a range of gymnasts from new babies to International athletes and is always trying to expand what is on offer. The club offers the following classes –

GymBabies for children under 18 months old

Gymtots for parents to bring their under 4’s

GymJynx independent preschool for children aged 3 – 4 years.

GymKids & GymJuniors for both boys and girls aged four and over.
