Come and celebrate summer and the great outdoors. Now in its 13th year and a real feature of the Barry community calendar Art4U are hosting Beyond the Clouds 2023 Kite Festival from 5.30 p.m. on Wednesday June 21st, an evening of kites, art and fun for all ages.

We love to see as many different kinds of Kites as possible, so there will be a special prize kite for the most exciting and creative on show donated by professional Kitesman Wayne Kiteman from Perth, Australia who will also be flying and sharing the beauty of his specialist kites. Be as creative as you like and the winner will be featured on our social media page.

We have also teamed up with Kites for Peace project from Harare, Zimbabwe whose shared aim is to inspire inner peace through the simple act of kite flying and the liberating feeling one may get by doing so.

As the demand was so great last year there will be a selection of kites available on the night for you to purchase so you do not miss out on the fun!
