For  over  20 years,  Motion  Control  has  delivered  weekly  classes,  workshops,  training  and  performance opportunities.  We have created many memorable experiences for those participating  in the activities and also for our audiences. Our services help individuals to express and appreciate  themselves  through  creative  dance  sessions  that  can  help  broaden  horizons, develop  new  skills and break down barriers to create positive attributes for life..     Motion Control Dance works across  the community at grassroots level with a motto  that  everyone can have a ‘Chance to Dance’.

Our Award Winning projects focus upon children, young people and adults with disabilities, as well  as  those  who  are  socially  deprived,  with  the  aim  to  increase  general  health  and  well-being  and  tackle social exclusion.   We work with schools and local organisations, delivering dance projects &  workshops to young people to engage them in physical activity, develop and increase confidence,  self- esteem,  social skills,  motor skills, physical fitness create new friendship groups,  and  impact on  literacy and numeracy as part of the holistic learning process of dance and movement.   Our  projects and workshops are delivered throughout the community with opportunities to showcase dance pieces at local community events and competitions.

Motion Control Dance holds the Welsh Prestige Award for Dance Studio of the Year 2022 and also was voted the best Sports Club of the Vale in 2021.  We hold the Silver Insport Badge for inclusion and we are also a dementia friendly organisation.
