Mental health is the most commonly raised issue by children, young people, their parents and carers with 1 in 6 children and young adults in Wales having a diagnosable mental health problem. 1 in 4 adults in Wales experience mental health problems during the course of their lifetime within half of all mental health problems developing by the age of 14. One of the main reasons that people do not commit to receiving help for their mental health is the stigma attached to it resulting in a worsening of symptoms and delay in getting help
Beyond trends, my aim is to debunk the myths and stereotypes attached to therapy for you to access help in order to overcome your difficulties. Therapy teaches you how your mind works whilst helping you to navigate your feelings, build better behaviours, and relate to your thoughts differently so you can live the life you want and to help you discover the best version of yourself
Wanting to improve your mental health but unable to do it alone? I would like to hear about what is going on in your life and for you to find out more about me and how therapy could support you
